It was written by Charlie Brooker and directed by Bryn Higgins, and first aired on Channel 4 on February 25, 2013. The episode is set in a contemporary setting and explores public distrust of politicians, with a satirical tone. Meanwhile, Jamie develops feelings for Gwendolyn Harris, the Labour Party candidate, but their relationship is complicated by Jamie's role as Waldo. The episode received mixed reviews from critics, who criticized its reliance on tropes and its ending, with some comparing the character of Waldo to business magnate Donald Trump.learn more on wikipedia
