Taxi Driver is a 1976 American neo-noir psychological drama film directed by Martin Scorsese and written by Paul Schrader. The film stars Robert De Niro as Travis Bickle, a mentally unstable taxi driver who becomes obsessed with saving a 12-year-old prostitute, Iris, from her abusive pimp, Sport.
