Mount Sabih
Mount Sabih is a mountain located between the Palestinian villages of Qabalan, Yatma, and Beita, south of Nablus, with a height of 570 meters. In May 2021, Israeli settlers established an illegal outpost named Evyatar on the mountain's highest peak, but it was vacated on July 2, 2021, after a compromise with Israeli authorities. The local councils of the three villages and nine Palestinians from Qabalan petitioned the Israeli High Court to revoke the compromise, but their appeal was refused by the Israeli Supreme Court in August 2021, pending a State Land declaration. In October 2021, 60 dunams of the land were declared state land, and in February 2022, the then-attorney general approved forming a legal settlement, but no further action has been taken.learn more on wikipedia
