MICA

The MICA missile is a French-made, short to medium-range missile system designed for air, ground, and naval use. It is a multi-target, all-weather, fire-and-forget system capable of lock-on after launch, and it features a thrust vector control system for increased agility. The missile has two variants: MICA RF with an active radar homing seeker and MICA IR with an imaging infra-red homing seeker, both of which can filter out counter-measures. The MICA IR can also provide IR imagery to the central data processing system on the Rafale aircraft.
