Exocet
The Exocet is a French-built anti-ship missile that can be launched from various platforms including surface vessels, submarines, helicopters, and fixed-wing aircraft. It is designed to attack small- to medium-size warships and is guided inertially in mid-flight before turning on active radar homing to find and hit its target. The missile has a maximum range of 70 kilometers and is equipped with a solid propellant rocket motor, with later versions using a turbojet sustainer engine to extend its range to over 180 kilometers. The Exocet has been manufactured in various versions, including the MM40 Block 3, which features improved range and guidance capabilities and can attack targets from different angles and strike land targets.learn more on wikipedia
