Camp X

Camp X was a secret British paramilitary installation for training covert agents in clandestine operations during World War II. Located in Ontario, Canada, the facility was jointly operated by the Canadian military, Foreign Affairs, and the RCMP, with help from MI6 and commanded by the BSC. Established on December 6, 1941, Camp X trained agents in sabotage techniques, subversion, intelligence gathering, and other skills, and communicated with them through a secure tower called Hydra. The facility closed before the end of 1944 and was eventually removed, leaving behind a monument.
