CRJ700
The Bombardier CRJ700 series is a family of regional jet airliners designed and manufactured by Bombardier, officially launched in 1997. The CRJ700's maiden flight took place on May 27, 1999, followed by the CRJ900 variant, with additional variants including the CRJ1000, CRJ550, and CRJ705. The design was derived from the CRJ100 and CRJ200 airliners, and its development cost around C$300 million in 1995. The CRJ700 retained only 15% of the CRJ200 airframe and was powered by General Electric CF34-8C engines. Bombardier's board authorized sales of the CRJ-X in September 1996, and the CRJ700 was officially launched in January 1997. The CRJ program was acquired by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in 2020, and production of the aircraft ceased.learn more on wikipedia
