Australian Grand Prix
The Australian Grand Prix is an annual motor racing event that has been part of the Formula One World Championship since 1985. The event has been held at various venues throughout Australia, with 23 different tracks used since its inaugural run at Phillip Island in 1928. The race has been held at the Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne since 1996, with the exception of 2020 and 2021 when the races were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Grand Prix has a rich history, with the first official event held in 1928 at Phillip Island, and has been held at various tracks throughout Australia, including Mount Panorama, which hosted the first post-war Grand Prix in 1947.
