Aboriginal
Aboriginal Australians are the Indigenous peoples of the Australian mainland and many of its islands, excluding the Torres Strait Islanders. They have a complex history, with evidence suggesting their ancestors migrated to Australia at least 65,000 years ago and developed over 500 language-based groups. Aboriginal Australians have a rich cultural heritage, with a wide variety of cultural practices and beliefs that make up the oldest continuous cultures in the world. They have a complex genetic makeup, with genetic inheritance from ancient Asian peoples and similarities with Papuans, but have been isolated from Southeast Asia for a long time. Today, Indigenous Australians comprise 3.8% of Australia's population, with many speaking English and living in cities, while still maintaining traditional languages and cultural practices.learn more on wikipedia
