Three shipyard officials arrested over failed warship launch

According to Pyongyang's statement, a "serious accident" occurred during the event, with Kim Jong-un labelling it a "criminal act caused by absolute carelessness." The incident is seen as an embarrassment to Kim, who is striving to build up North Korea's naval capabilities in response to perceived US-led military threats.
