First of Seven Villagers Rescued from Flooded Laos Cave
Updated on
ai generated text
A rescue operation in Laos has freed one of seven people who had been trapped in a flooded cave for more than a week. Rescuers had earlier established contact with five of the remaining trapped individuals.
Diving in the narrow passage that has no space to make a U-turn, this is really dangerous so we need to evaluate the safety measures, principles, routes and expertise in the cave area.
One person has been brought out of the cave safely. Four others remain, awaiting assessment. The search for the remaining two will continue tomorrow.
The first one is out. Safe and sound!!!
It's pretty awful, by the looks of things.
